In this lecture, Giuseppe Martinico of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies examines how constitutional law is mobilised in Eurosceptic discourse and politics. The lecture is part of EU Law Encounters, the 2026/2027 lecture series of the Amsterdam Centre for European Law and Governance (ACELG), which brings EU law into dialogue with different intellectual traditions and interdisciplinary perspectives. The series addresses major challenges facing the EU, including democratic decline, migration, belonging and European integration.
