This symposium brings together scholars from law, philosophy and artificial intelligence to examine the ethical and legal challenges posed by AI-driven manipulation. The programme features keynote lectures on AI, persuasion, epistemic agency and the regulation of human-machine interaction, followed by a panel discussion on the implications of increasingly influential digital technologies for individual autonomy and regulatory frameworks.

Organised by the Special Interest Group AI, Ethics and Law of Utrecht University, the event aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on one of the most pressing issues in contemporary AI governance.
