Ukraine is a sovereign nation and will make its own decisions. Kyiv will not accept an outcome that does not recognize its sovereignty or ensure Ukraine’s long-term security – nor should they. They will keep fighting if necessary. Europe must protect Ukraine, and itself, and balance the Trump Administration.
